“DOF” Froth Slurry Pump are heavy duty vertical pumps designed to handle difficult tenacious froth that may cause air into pump, which may reduce head output at low and high volume flow, correspond reduction in efficiency and power draw, as well as flow instability. Froth slurry pump is the pump to solve the problems in mineral processing.
“DOF” Vertical Froth Slurry Pumps are designed to increase the pump ability of frothy slurry, which can reduce normal slurry pump working performance and increase wear on pump parts.
The operation principle of “DOF” Vertical Slurry Pump is similar to that of hydrocyclone separation, rotating impeller and tangential inlet can increase the vortex which separate air from the slurry, therefore, “DOF” Vertical Froth Pump can result in more efficient pumping at higher capacities and a smooth Vertical Froth Pump are designed feature of: Integrated unit for layout flexibility, Smooth operation of the open vortex created in the Vertical and vertical “wet end” inlet prevents air locking, Cantilever design does not require submerged bearings or shaft seals,
Bearing assembly with double protection sealing arrangement to prevent ingress of slurry, and wear parts are available in a variety of different materials, for standard pumps are supplied with parts in wear resistant Natural Rubber or High Chrome iron alloy, with a nominal hardness of 600 BHN.
Other war part materials are available. The wear parts have large material sections for extra long wear life and are designed for the toughest applications.
Parts in different materials are fully interchangeable and can be combined for optimum life.
